Hey people and thank you for visiting Iconic Phoenix. This is my icon journal whereas my entry journal could be found at phoenix_tear. Friend me if you want and I'll friend you back!

I caught on to the icon making trend not so long ago and perfected it over the summer. At first, I would use the icons that other users put up (after letting them know and crediting them of course). Then I decided to try doing some myself. I loved the first ones I did but I look back on them and they were a disaster. I've really changed from then to now. And so, this journal came to be.

Some of you might think this is an Angelina Jolie icon journal. It isn't. I just think she is the sexiest, smartest and sultriest woman on earth and I chose her to be my icon journal's theme.

Just to make sure no one does something I wouldn't like them to do with my icons or anything else I post on here.

1) When taking an icon, comment in the post containing the icon and let me know which one(s) you'll be taking.

2) You can take as many icons as you want! Yay! You can use them anywhere you want! Yay again!

3) Wherever you use my icons, credit either phoenix_tear or iconic_phoenix. If you want to know how you can credit, check the FAQ's below. This is a really important rule for me.

4) When you take an icon, please do not use the link that I've used for it. Get a image hosting account, like Photobucket, and host the icons on your own account.

5) If you ever take something that isn't an icon, like a brush, and use it to make an icon in a tutorial or to just post it in an icon community or your own journal, mention phoenix_tear or iconic_phoenix.

6) Do not take the icons I've made and play around with them (alter their appearance), unless I state that they are bases. I always save my icons at the highest possible quality, so if you ever find yourself having to lower the quality in order to use it, do so, but state that the icon was of higher quality when you took it. Remeber, icons without text aren't bases unless I say so.

Please e-mail any question that isn't found in the FAQ's and if I recieve more than two emails with the same question, I'll add the question here with its answer.

How can I credit you?

ON LIVEJOURNAL.COM - Just type in phoenix_tear or iconic_phoenix in the keywords when you upload the icon.

ON A FORUM - If there is a similar way to the livejournal.com way, do that. If not, then it'd be nice to just let everyone know in your signature if you have space. But never claim it as your own.

ON MSN MESSENGER - If there is a similar way to the livejournal.com way, do that. If not, then if anyone asks, let them know that I did it. Now, I won't be able to catch you if you lie so I'm counting on your honesty. This is applicable to any other messenger system.
